Aaron Glen Kalmakoff

Aaron Glen Kalmakoff died in Anchorage, Alaska, on May 13, 2020. Aaron was an Army veteran who served in the infantry.

Aaron was born on Aug. 17, 1989, to Eunice Kalmakoff. Aaron grew up in Pilot Point, Alaska. He graduated from Galena Learning Academy. He moved to Port Heiden, Alaska, where he would start a family and make his life.

Aaron was an amazing father and husband. His wife Tisha and children Andrew, Clarise and Margret Elizabeth were his world, and he was their rock.

Aaron was an avid hunter and fishermen, providing for his family and enjoying the land with tradition and respect.

Aaron is joins his brothers Glenn and Carl, and sister Brenda, in death. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Tisha; children, Andrew, Clarise and Margret; his mom, Eunice; brothers, Leon, Ryan and John; and his many friends and extended family. His brothers in arms salute him.

His funeral services will be at the St. Innocent Russian Orthodox Church in Anchorage and his burial will be at St. Matrona Church in Port Heiden.

Due to COVID-19, everyone is required to wear masks to enter the church and we are respectfully asking that people adhere to social distancing guidelines. There will not be any gathering following the services in Anchorage.
