Obituary

Addyson Bennett

Sept 4, 2013 -

Jan 30, 2020

Addy passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her parents on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020, at Kapi'olani Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Addy was born on Sept. 4, 2013, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Philip and May Bennett.

Addy was diagnosed with Cockayne syndrome in the fall of 2016. Through every joy and trial, our little Addy never stopped loving the people in her life. Despite her physical limitations, her heart, smile and hugs were filled with life and love. Her fight with Cockayne syndrome is over, but the victory isn't by Cockayne syndrome, it's through Christ Jesus our savior.

Addy loved to bowl, swim, style mommy's hair, snuggle with daddy and give the warmest hugs.

Addy is preceded in death by her cousin, Caleb Arns; great-pawpaw, Jack Tillotson; and great-grandmother, Margaret Bennett.

Addy is survived by her parents, Philip and May Bennett; sister, Emily Bennett; maternal grandparents, Fou Lee and Meuy Saechao; and paternal grandparents, Keith and Barbara Bennett; aunts; uncles; and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Feb. 22, 2020, at 11 a.m., at ChangePoint Church, 6689 ChangePoint Drive, Anchorage, AK 99518.

In lieu of flowers, please support Share and Care Cockayne Syndrome Network.
