Angel Ajari-Marie Sampson gained her heavenly wings on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020. Angel was truly an angel who was a kind, compassionate person who tried to help everyone she met. Angel was born on May 3, 1986 in Los Angeles, Calif. to the late Robert Jerome Sampson and the late Tamra Campbell. She moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1989 and was placed in the care of her grandmother, Etheldra Sampson Davis and her Mom and Dad, Dexter and Andrea Antoine. Angel spent her formative years in Anchorage; she graduated from Piney Woods School in Mississippi in 2005. After high school, Angel graduated from Heritage College in Oklahoma City with her Pharmacy Tech Certificate in 2010. Angel was employed as a pharmacy technician with Midnight Sun Oncology in Wasilla, Alaska. Angel leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Amari Marie Sampson-Beybeyah, Wasilla, Alaska; mom and dad, Andrea & Dexter Antoine; grandma, Etheldra Sampson-Davis, all of Anchorage, Alaska; fiancé, Wesley Brewington, Wasilla, Alaska; siblings, Amber Phillips, Annika Campbell, Las Vegas, Nevada; Ahmad Dillard, Dallas, Texas; Ajee Smith, Westport, Wash.; a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins and close friends all over the country. Angel was preceded in death by her biological parents, Robert Jerome Sampson and Tamra Campbell; maternal grandmother, Claire Annmarie Crawford and great-grandmother, Una J. Francis; and paternal grandfather, Jerome Sampson. A public viewing will be held Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 from 1-4 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Chapel, 737 E Street, Anchorage. A private Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020 at Eagle River Baptist Church, 16050 Lesmer Court. A livestream will be available for those unable to attend, via Facebook Live. Burial will be held at Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery.
