Anthony Leroy Burkett

Anthony Leroy Burkett, 68, passed away peacefully at his home in Anchorage, Alaska. He was a loving son, brother and father. He adored his only sons, Bobby and Tracy, as well as his grandchildren, Mattie-Mae and Joseph Burkett.

Anthony was a great friend to so many and enjoyed helping people. He was a active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Anchorage for more than 30 years. Anthony worked for Napa Auto, where he retired after 27 years.

He was well loved and respected by all who knew him, and will be deeply missed.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Mattie; and brother, Paul Bush.

Survivors include sons, Bobby and Tracy Burkett; grandchildren, Mattie-Mae and Joseph Burkett; father, Jack Bush; sister, Peggy Lafe; brothers, Billy Burkett, Melvin and Malcolm Bush; and many many friends.

Services will be held at Legacy Funeral Home Heritage Chapel at Angelus, at 1 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020.
