Arnold E. Pyhala, 67, passed away of natural causes at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska, on June 17, 2020. Arnold was born on Sept. 24, 1952, to the late Kauko and Ester (Johnson) Pyhala. Arnold was a lifelong Alaskan where he spent his time salmon fishing on the Russian River. He was a trusted and loyal employee of 25 years of service at Pizza Plaza in Anchorage. You could always find Arnold playing billiards with friends and spending quality time with family and friends.

Arnold is survived by his brother, Paul Allan (Patricia) Pyhala of Anchor Point, Alaska; his sisters, Elaine Nave of Everett, Wash., Mary (Mark) Fish of Big Lake, Alaska, and Elizabeth Kuhn of Burleson, Texas; along with many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020, from 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., at Pizza Plaza on Northern Lights Boulevard.
