Bruce Junes, age 65, passed away on May 7, 2020, in hospice care at Providence Horizon House in Anchorage, Alaska. He was born in Detroit Lakes, Minn., and married Diane (Matthews) in August 1979. In 1988, he moved to Alaska with his wife and daughter. He was a retired airline mechanic. He enjoyed planes big and small, traveling, hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford. He is survived by his wife, Diane; mother, Eleanor (Janson); daughter, Sarah (Hank) Ollanketo; grandkids, Gavin and Eli; brothers, Wayne (Alice) and Jeff; sister, Christine; family, friends and a host of brothers and sisters in faith. Private graveside services were held at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Crystal, Minn., on May 20, 2020.
