Carla Mary Logan

Rest in peace as of April 15, 2020.

Carla was married to Garth for 60 wonderful years.

She had four loving children; Desiree was the oldest followed by Eric.

Carla pursued her nursing career her entire life. Garth was a scientist and pursued various pursuits in the physical world.

Following many good years in Iowa, Carla and Garth moved to Alaska and all went well.

Carla, of course, the everlasting nurse, kept the household on a steady footing; which let Garth to pursue some lucrative contracts.

In the course of events, Carla had two more children, Clinton and Elizabeth, followed by nine grandchildren: Tia, Valerie, Brooke, Sage, Julia, Chase, Emily, Olivia and Dylan, and two great-grandchildren, Violet and Chase Jr.

After enjoying the many wonders of Alaska for years, Carla decided to retire from nursing.

After 40 or more years in the field, her accomplishments were many and varied.

Carla was President of the March of Dimes for the entire Northwest United States, and held many conferences in Alaska.

Carla established new departments at Providence Hospital and helped recruit new doctors for such as well as establishing new upgrades at Regional Hospital.

Well, as you can see, Carla was entitled a few years of peace with her husband.

They were often seen enjoying Potter Marsh just a short distance from their home.

Upon returning home from the hospital, Carla's parting words for this world were: "Oh my! How wonderful to be home! I love you Garth!"
