Clyde William Farson

On April 6, 2020, in Surprise, Ariz., Clyde Farson passed away peacefully, at the age of 92, with his wife by his side. He led a very fascinating life.

He was born in Chicago, Ill., and grew up in Glendale, Calif. He attended his senior year of high school in Mexico City. He married Violette Jane McReynolds of Boise, Idaho, in 1956. He lived in Barrow, Alaska; Canal Zone in Panama; India; and England before settling into life in Camarillo, Calif.

In 1976, he rejoined the Public Health Service and spent 5 years in Tuba City, Ariz., on the Navajo Indian Reservation before moving to Anchorage, Alaska, where he continued working in the Public Health Service as an ophthalmologist until his retirement.

In 2010, he and Vi moved to Surprise, Ariz.

He is survived by his wife, Violette; his four adult children and their spouses, Becky and Terry O'Brien, Matt and Helen Farson, Phil and Ok-Kyung Farson and Karen Farson; as well as his two grandchildren, Alexander Farson and Sophia Farson.
