Conrado Viray Bonifacio, a sharp dresser, food lover and an excellent singer, has passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. He was 66 years old. He passed away peacefully at Providence Extended Care Center with his loving family by his side. Conrado was big on family and he fought long and hard just to be with them.
He was born in a very small town in Masantol, Pampanga, Philippines, and he was the third youngest out of 14 siblings. Coming from a family that suffered from poverty, he used this as a motivation and became a police officer in the Philippines. He then tried his luck in the United States as a CNA and became a United States citizen. He then decided to move to Alaska and held many different jobs such as a canary worker and general laborer. After being in Alaska for a few years, he made the decision to make the Last Frontier his home.
He was a loving husband to Grace Bonifacio and was married for 35 years. He was a proud father to Raymond Bonifacio and Stephanie Bonifacio.
Family and friends will fondly remember Conrado as the life of the party. Often known as a humorous guy with a talent to capture the room with his voice. You will often hear him sing songs from the 60s and the 70s with occasional Tom Jones and Elvis Presley impersonations. He was known as the Karaoke King due to his ability to make you sing along once he was on the microphone.
Due to COVID-19, his celebration of life will be set for a future date. No funeral services will be held, as it was Conrado's wish that his estate be used for others, rather than himself.
Arrangements are entrusted with Janssen Funeral Homes.
