David Paul Rudolph, a longtime resident of Wasilla, Alaska, passed away unexpectedly at home from sudden cardiac arrest on Monday, April 13, 2020, at the age of 68.
Dave was born on Jan. 6, 1952, in Carlisle, Pa., son of Janet and the late James Rudolph. He moved to Alaska as a young boy and was the oldest of six children. He became a member of the Air National Guard as a young man and then found a career in telecommunications and was a proud member of the IBEW.
Dave had a large family and kept busy over the years with his five sons, daughter and grandchildren.
After retirement he spent his days relaxing at his cabin in Willow, taking pictures of nature and sharing stories with everyone. When the spirits moved him he would be out on his Harley enjoying a beautiful Alaska day.
His big smile and infectious laugh will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity of knowing him.
