Deborah Eisenmenger

Longtime Alaska resident Deborah Dawn Eisenmenger passed away peacefully at home on April 6, 2020.

Debbie was born on Nov. 28, 1949, in Pendleton, Ore. She was the eldest daughter of the late Clifford and Myrna (Fairris) Tice.

Debbie moved to Fairbanks, Alaska, with her family and graduated from Lathrop High School in 1967. It was there that she met and fell in love with John Eisenmenger. They were married on Feb. 14, 1969, and had three daughters. Debbie and John moved to Anchorage, Alaska, in 1973. Debbie attended UAA and earned her associates degree in nursing in 1986. She worked in many fields of nursing until her retirement in 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Eisenmenger; parents, Clifford and Myrna Tice; and her sister, Cheryle Blair. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Mike Brown, Heidi and Abe Shukert and Jodi and Dan Izykowski; and grandchildren, Sara Shukert, Emily (Shukert) Bickerton, Michelle Brown, Justin Shukert, Cooper Brown, Aaron Shukert, Kaylie Izykowski, Ethan Izykowski and Tyler Shukert.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA in Debbie's memory.
