Longtime Alaska resident Donna Gale LaFramboise, 79, passed away on Aug. 15, 2022, at Mat-Su Regional Hospital.

A service will be held at Kehl's Palmer Mortuary, 209 South Alaska Street in Palmer, Alaska, on Sept. 3, 2022, at 2 p.m. After the service, there will be a pot luck in honor of Donna at 8115 North Highlander Loop in Palmer.

Donna was born on Aug. 13, 1943, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Hal and Florence Bollen. Donna married Tony LaFramboise on Sept. 23, 1958, in Anchorage, Alaska.

Donna enjoyed painting, interior decorating and working in her yard. She especially loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donna also made the best fried chicken and potato salad - everyone would ask her to make it for family events. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Donna is survived by her husband, Tony; daughter, Debbie and Tim Oakes; son, Kevin; and son, Keith and Heather; grandchildren, Jeremy and Jodi Oakes, Jesse and Laurie Oakes, Rob Bentti, Savannah and Bryce McGough, Dru and Aasilinn Teel, (lil) Tony LaFramboise; and great-grandchildren, Jaden, Jared, Abbie, Aaron and Charlie Oakes, Abby and Mya McGough, and Phoenix and Jaxson Teel.
