Doug enjoyed fishing, camping, listening to music and hanging out with friends. He was always making jokes or teasing you just to get a smile.

Doug is survived by his sister, Starlett Komakhuk; brother, Roy Komakhuk; nieces, Danielle Del Real, Kristel and Tanya Komakhuk: and great-nephews, Alexander Stiles and Diego, Antonio and Daniel Del Real. Doug is also survived by uncles, Kenny, Sammy and Jonathon Komakhuk; and aunts, Clara Beckman, Carol Elvsas and Myrtle Komakhuk. He was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Komakhuk; sister, Ethel; grandfather, Sam Komakhuk; and grandmother, Ethel Komakhuk; uncles, Eddie. Roy, Sonny, Gabe and Hansel; aunts, Molly and Maggie; nephew, David Komakhuk; and great-niece, Nadia Komakhuk.
