He worked as a job service representative for Alaska's Alaska Department of Labor, employee counselor for Fluor Alaska Inc. during Alaska pipeline construction, coordinator for Alaska's Department of Community and Regional Affairs, job placement representative for an Anchorage non-profit group, and technician for the Alaska Army National Guard. Frank's children said: "Dad was a loving father who showered us with gifts, took us out on bike rides and fun adventures to the library and our favorite parks, made sure we were taken care of and lavished us with homemade breakfasts on weekends. He suffered a debilitating stroke in 2009 but, with remarkable tenacity, was able to spend 11 more years with his family." They added: "Dad, we think of you and pray for you every day. You'll always be in our hearts."
