Gary Mitchel Morris was born on June 6, 1953, to William and Marion Morris in Anchorage, Alaska.

He passed away on Feb. 27, 2020, at the age of 66, surrounded by family.

Gary graduated from East Anchorage High School in 1971. He was an amazing mechanic and handy man who loved working on automobiles, motorcycles and bikes. He could build or fix anything.

He loved to race cars, dirt bikes and go camping, fishing and hunting with his father and brothers. He enjoyed family gatherings and listening to his music and later in life riding his bike.

The family will always remember Gary as a kind loving person who had a smile

and laugh that warmed your heart, he will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He is survived by his brothers, George Morris, Bill (Denise) Morris and Glenn (Debra) Morris; nephew, Clinton Morris; nieces, Rachelle Riggan, Melanie Morris and Kyla Morris; and many great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, William and Marion Morris.

A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020, at Legacy Funeral Homes, Heritage Chapel at Angelus, 440 East Klatt Road in Anchorage. A burial service will take place at Angelus Memorial Park Cemetery in May.
