Geoff succumbed to his 3-year battle with ALS on his own terms, surrounded by friends and family on Oct, 13. 2020. A memorial service will be planned for next summer after the crazy is over.

A lifelong Alaskan, Geoff graduated from East High in 1984 and University of Wyoming in 1989. He loved to fish, be a fan of the Red Sox, keep his vehicles tricked out and hang with friends. He married his high school sweetheart, Teresa, got divorced and rediscovered her as a true friend when sickness hit.

Geoff's last years of working and living independently was made possible by his long-term employer AS&G's willingness to adapt to his changing situation, his close circle of friends and family willing to step in and help. Geoff's legacy will be an example of how each of us can handle life's hurdles thrown our way with strength and grace and to make meaning of the time we have left.

Geoff is survived by his sister and brother, Kelly Tyner and Doug Knock; nieces and nephews; long term friends from high school; and a cat named Rex, adopted by a friend.
