Gertrude "Trudy" Thompson, age 92, passed at home on Sept. 17, 2020.

Born July 21, 1928, in Danville, Va., she lived in Los Angeles, Calif., and moved to Alaska in 1968.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Franklin Thompson; her son, Alvin; her daughter, Alvina; and her favorite nephew, Forest.

Her Home Going Service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home Heritage Chapel at Angelus, 440 East Klatt Road in Anchorage, Alaska, on Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, at 11 a.m., with Graveside Service to follow at Anchorage Memorial Park at 2 p.m.
