Gil and Elise moved to many places where he worked hard to provide for his growing family. Moving from Idaho, Oregon, California to Alaska and back again. Gil was a no-nonsense man who had no problem sharing his opinion. Gil chose to leave school in the ninth grade, choosing to get his education in life experiences instead of a classroom. He tried his hand at many things including, but not limited to, farming, ranching, driving truck, mechanic and could fix or jury-rig anything! Gil loved to camp and fish and could be found doing both in the company of a good dog.
