Gregory Grafton Lathim "Mr. Awesome," age 47, of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away on Aug. 20, 2020, at Providence Medical Center.

Greg was born on April 6, 1973, in Anchorage to George C. and Esther (Scheider) Lathim.

Greg was born and raised in Anchorage and graduated from East High, class of 1991. He worked for the family business - Polar Reproduction Supply - until its closing, and spent the last 15 years happily working as a DJ at the Last Frontier Bar.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Lathim; and brother-in-law, Douglas Brown.

Greg is survived by his mother, Esther; sister, Lynn Brown; and niece, Victoria Brown

Greg loved his niece Victoria with all his heart. His family was everything to him. Greg loved the Dallas Cowboys, ice cream and his many friends that he called family. He was always positive and uplifting to everyone. The passing of our father was hard on him and he was heartbroken over it.

Greg's life was too short here on earth and God truly received an angel the day he passed.

Our family would like to thank all of Greg's friends that have stepped up for him, helping, giving and supporting us. He would be so proud and honored.
