Mrs. Ida Deloris White was born on June 27, 1946, in Albany, Ga., to Mr. and Mrs. Walter (Emma James Sr.). Also known as Deloris "Dee" White.
She attended the public schools in Albany, Ga.
Ida met her husband, Kenneth, in 1971, in Albany, and they were married on July 22, 1973, in Malden, Mass.
Ida and Kenneth were married for 47 years at the time when her address was changed from earth to haven by her Father God.
From their union, God blessed them with three wonderful children: two sons and one daughter. They have 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
During almost 25 years of active duty military service in the United States Air Force, Ida faithfully supported her husband and family during various assignments at stateside and overseas locations.
Ida had a profound impact on the lives of many people she met through the years, extending loving kindness, warm hugs and a beautiful smile to everyone who needed one.
Oak of righteousness, we miss you already! However, we look forward to the day when we shall meet again on those streets of gold and get to visit with you in your mansion Father God had prepared for your arrival home.
A public visitation will be held on Sept. 17, 2020, from 2-4 p.m., at Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel, 737 E Street in Anchorage, Alaska. The burial will be at Fort Richardson National Cemetery, at 10 a.m., on Sept. 18, 2020, with a Memorial Service following at Anchorage City Church from 2:30- 4:30 p.m. The Facebook link for all who would like to join is "AnchorageCityChurch2020."
