It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jacob "Jake" Kincaid, who left us too soon, at the young age of 45.
Jake was so much to so many - cherished son, loving brother, loving father, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and an unforgettable friend. His quick wit and signature movie one-liners would brighten anyone's day. Jake had an incredible gift for making people feel seen, accepted and loved just the way they were.
A brilliant mind with a heart full of compassion, Jake was known for his love of technology, his creative spirit and his big, warm heart. His affection for animals and the outdoors reflected his gentle soul.
Jake graduated from Save High School in 1998, and brought his warmth and charisma to every place he worked. Whether around a campfire, at a concert or just spending time with loved ones, Jake's energy was magnetic, and his laughter unforgettable. He was loved deeply by all his family and friends. Jake will be missed, and memories that were made will be cherished forever.
Jake was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Ardeen Ludwig; grandfather, Earnest Mullins; and grandfather, Gary M. Kincaid. Jake is survived by his parents, Jerry and Sherrie Kincaid; brothers, RJ Kincaid (wife Kylie) and Josh Kincaid; daughter, Aurora; uncles, Terry Kincaid (wife Bridget) and Larry Kincaid (preceded in death, Norma); aunt, Rhonda Peters (husband Bill); and countless family members and dear friends who were like family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Aug. 16, 2025, from 2-6 p.m., at the Kincaid Family Property, 7540 Our Own Lane in Anchorage, Alaska. Please bring stories, pictures and memories to share as we honor and celebrate Jake's life.
