Jason Patrick Clouser, age 40, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2020, in Reno, Nev. Jason was born on March 17, 1980, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Carlton R. Clouser and Carol Ann Clune. Jason spent his early years in Alaska and Colorado with his father Carlton and his half-sisters Diana and Rachel. Jason was later adopted by his grandparents, Col. (Ret.) Maurice L. Clouser and Clarice S. Clouser in Anchorage.
Jason became active with the Boy Scouts of America while in Anchorage with the help of his grandfather. He also obtained the high honor of becoming an Eagle Scout of which he was very proud.
Another interest that Jason had was in writing poetry. He had a profound gift for writing very enigmatic, meaningful words that had very strong significance to his life. A talent we will all miss from him. Jason also enjoyed art as a whole, attending The Art Institute to further his abilities.
Later in life Jason wanted to expand his horizons and made the decision to move to Reno, Nev. There, he lived a boundless and carefree life amongst his friends. He encountered many a struggle there, but he was always there for his friends and possessed a huge heart to try and help the unfortunate.
Jason is preceded in death by his adopted parents, Col. (Ret.) Maurice Leon and Clarice S. Clouser; and birth parents, Carlton R. Clouser and Carol Ann Clune.
He leaves his beloved daughter, Eva Clouser of Las Vegas, Nev.; and two half-sisters, Rachel Clouser in Lakewood, Colo., and Diana Clouser in Anchorage. He is also survived by his adopted family: brother and sisters, Bruce Clouser, Judy Clouser and Laura Goggins in Anchorage, sister, Joyce Peterson in Visalia, Calif., and brother, Richard Clouser in Inchelium, Wash.; and many cousins, nieces and nephews in Alaska, Nevada, and California.
The family offers a suggestion of donating to a charity of your choice to help the underprivileged, homeless communities in his honor.
