Jasper Bruce Hart

Jasper passed away on June 8, 2020, at home. He was born to Jackson Bruce Hart and Mabel Electra (Edmondson) Hart in Colorado City, Texas.

Jasper is survived by wife Mary Louise of 60 years; sister, Edna Louise (Hart) Crenshaw of Lubbock, Texas; and sons, Joseph Bruce of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Jeffrey Bryan (and wife Tina) of Apache Junction, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Jasper was a 1950 graduate of Colorado City High School and a 1954 graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in petroleum geology. He served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956 with and honorable discharge.

Jasper was in the petroleum exploration industry with Geophysical Services Inc. (GSI) and Texas Instruments his entire business life.

A private family grave side service will be held on June 23, 2020, at Fort Richardson National Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project; Armed Services YMCA of Alaska or a charity of your choice.

Jasper will be loved and missed by his family and friends, especially his storytelling.
