Jay Teilborg was a cherished husband, father and friend. He passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 10, 2020, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer. Jay was born in Denver, Colo., and moved to Alaska because of his love for nature and adventures. He loved hunting, fishing, rugby, cycling and hockey, and had special talent for art. He was an incredible, one-of-a-kind man who was loved by all who knew him.

His wife Ann and three children, Ciara, Aidan and Fiona, were the light of his life.

Jay is survived by his older siblings, Judy, Chuck, Terry, Tom and Peggy. He will be deeply missed by his family and multitude of friends and loved ones.

His celebration of life will be an outdoor event at 1441 Shore Drive on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, at 1 p.m. Please join us and celebrate the cherished memories you have with Jay.
