Katherine Amy Anderson, 65, passed away peacefully at home in Anchorage, Alaska, on Sept. 21, 2020. Katherine was born on Oct. 8, 1954, in Mount Edgecumbe, Alaska, to the late Patricia Mae Mallott and Clifford Stephen Anderson. Katherine attended Mt. Edgecumbe School, Seattle Central Community College, and the University of Alaska Anchorage. Katherine was employed by Anchorage Police Department as a 911 dispatcher, as well as Southcentral Foundation as a behavior health supervisor. Katherine enjoyed spending her time being with her grandchildren, going to bingo, sewing, crocheting, traveling and spending time with family.

She is survived by her sisters, Donna Cecile Anderson of Seattle, Wash., and Sharon Kay Anderson Spencer; brother, Patrick Michael Anderson; and sons, John Stepney and Aaron Anthony Ester.
