Kenneth "Bruno" H. Kardell was born on Nov. 28, 1956, in St. Cloud, Minn. He suddenly passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle to many nieces and nephews - blood and honorary - and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita McFeeters-Kardell; his daughter, Jennifer Kent; his sons, Jamie Kardell and Nicholas Kardell; and his beloved dog, Willow. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He moved to Alaska in 1991 and immediately knew he was home. He loved to fish, hunt, snowmachine and four-wheel. He was a woodworker and all around jack-of-all-trades. He was an employee of GCI for 26 years. He loved showing visitors all of the wonders that Alaska has to offer. One of his greatest joys was being surrounding by his friends and loved ones.

There will be celebrations of his life announced at a later date here in Alaska and in Minnesota.
