Kimberly Ramona Bradshaw

Aug 1, 1960 -

Mar 18, 2020

Anchorage resident Kimberly Ramona Bradshaw, 59, passed on March 18, 2020, while staying at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. Miss Bradshaw was born on Aug. 1, 1960, at a U.S. Army base hospital in Munich, Germany, to Lois and Kenneth Bradshaw. She graduated college in 1992. Kim worked many jobs, but her real passion was organizing volunteers. She was an organizer for the National Kidney Foundation and Manager of Team Oklahoma for the US Transplant Games for many years.

Kim was always making something for someone. Jewelry and bead crafting kept her busy. She always had a personal card or item for a birthday or Christmas. She enjoyed dressing up in costume for the local renaissance fair or watching her son at events with the 501st.

"While my life has been challenging at times, I have had many more days of fulfillment and joy. The only regrets that I have are those of missed opportunities when I didn't say or do something that I should have. My life has been an amazing journey that really started, for me, the day my beautiful son was born. I have been blessed by the most amazing family, my friends held a precious place in my heart, and I have loved and been loved by some wonderful men."

Kimberly is survived by her mother, Lois Illene Nunley; her father, Kenneth Ray Bradshaw; her younger sisters, Cynthia Fern Izon and Connie Ruth Griffin; and her son, Christopher Ray Bradshaw.

A Memorial gathering will be planned around her birthday in August. Please contact her son Chris Bradshaw for information. The family asks that donations be made to your local team for the US Transplant Games, in lieu of flowers. Arrangements have been entrusted to Legacy Funeral Homes Kehl's Chapel.
