Larry Williams

Larry went to be with the Lord, at the age of 72, due to diabetic complications.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Breta Williams; and brother, Kenneth. Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Anita Williams; his five children, Cindy (Tracy) Daniels, Todd (Carrie), Joe, Jake (Jerushah) and Esther Koetting; and his 11 grandchildren.
When Larry was only 6 years old, his family moved from New Mexico to Alaska, searching for better opportunities. He never lost this adventure's personality, as he loved driving anywhere in Alaska. Even if the "road" was just a cow path.
After graduating from West Anchorage High in 1965, he joined the navy, returned to marry his high school sweetheart, then returned to service for two years.
He remodeled, repaired and built all his life. From working for others to working for himself, he touched most of Anchorage.
Larry came to the Lord Jesus Christ in 1972, through Abbott Loop Community Church. In his many years, with Abbott Loop, he went to Bible school, served as head usher, worked on the building crew for eight years, organized building volunteers and was used in prophecy. Despite being housebound for the last year, he never lost his love for Jesus.
Larry will be missed by family and friends. We will celebrate his life June 23, 2020, at Trailside Church, when his whole family can be here.
