Lidwino Villanueva Carrillo passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020, at Providence Alaska Medical Center, surrounded by family and receiving the Prayer of the Protector. He was born in Numancia, Aklan, Philippines, on Dec. 19, 1945, to Cristobal and Virginia Carrillo. Lidwino was a self-employed barber and enjoyed playing cards and billiards, and watching boxing and MMA.
He is survived by his wife, Rowena Malonesio Carrillo; children, Christopher Carrillo, Dennis Carrillo, Marissa Beninati, Cristobal Carrillo, Clynce Carrillo and Caleb Carrillo; grandchildren, Adrian Beninati and Gabriel Beninati; and sibilings, Amparo Bugayong, Luvisminda Solanoy, Luz Snyder, Grace Aujero and Lynn Morato.
His visitation will be held on Feb. 18, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. - 10 a.m., at Holy Family Cathedral. Following will be a Service from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The Reception will be at the Holy Family Cathedral Parish Hall from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Thank you to El Shaddai for the community and support that has become family. Lidwino lived his life devoted to God, Jesus and promoting the Ten Commandments. He will be missed and his family will continue his legacy of devotion and giving their time, talent and treasure.
