Linda Gayle Ornelas

Beautiful mother, sister and grandmother, Linda Gayle Musgrove Ornelas, age 61, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on May 24, 2020. Linda was born March 10, 1959, in Shawnee, Okla., to Bennie and Pearl Musgrove. She was raised in Bakersfield, Calif., and moved to Alaska in 1993 to be reunited with her late sister, Avis.

Linda was perfectly imperfect. She was a believer in Jesus Christ and asked for forgiveness for her sins. She was saved and He lived in her. She is free and in Heaven.

Linda enjoyed time at home with creative projects, crafting, crossword puzzles, coloring and listening to music. Her latest project was helping her brother Dennis with the family tree. Her biggest joy was spending time with her family and grandkids. She taught her kids the importance of family, staying connected and remaining close to one another.

Linda is survived by her children, Angela and husband Joe, Amy and husband Joshua, Alicia and wife Viri, Ricky, Ruben, and Donna and fiance Chuck; brothers, Dennis and wife Terri and John; and grandchildren, Shyanne, Emilee, Henry and David. Linda is also survived by countless nieces and nephews and extended family Henry, Andi, among other family members not listed. She is preceded in death by husband, Ismael Ornelas; parents, Bennie and Pearl; sisters, Avis and Lisa; and brother, Stanley.

As Linda would say, do not cry for me, celebrate my life.

Memorial services were held at Legacy Funeral Home on May 30, 2020, at 4 p.m., in Anchorage, Alaska, followed by a Celebration of Life at her home in Anchorage.
