Marie Jacobs

Marie was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in April 2020. She grew up in Aleknagik and moved to Anchorage, Alaska, in her later years.

Marie is survived by son, Shannon Small; daughter, Genevieve O'Niell; adopted granddaughter, Chloe Jacobs; and two other grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Moses and Fannie Jacobs.

Her faith in God helped her during her last stages of life.

Marie's celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 2 p.m., at ChangePoint Church. A potluck will follow on the outside patio at ChangePoint at 3 p.m.

Another memorial service will be held in Aleknagik this fall, where her ashes will be laid to rest.
