Long time Anchorage resident, Mary K. Roberson, 70, died Oct. 1, 2020 at the Alaska Native Medical Center.

Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church located at 1100 W 10th Ave, Anchorage, Alaska on Friday, Oct. 9, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A Service will follow from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Burial will then take place at Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery 535 E. 9th Ave, Anchorage, Alaska at 12:00 p.m. A potluck Reception will be held at the First Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m.

Mary was born Jan. 29, 1950 in Bethel, Alaska to Wassilie and Emma Atsitmok. She lived in Napakiak, Alaska for 28 years and was a long time member of the First Native Baptist Church. Mary worked for the Alaska Native Medical Center as well as Southcentral Foundation.

She was skilled in traditional Yupik sewing and beading. She also enjoyed fishing, berry picking, and fellowshipping with all those she met. Her special interest was making sure God's love and truth was spread, especially to her home village of Napakiak. She was a true prayer warrior.

She is survived by daughter, Grace Weiss; son-in-law, Corey Weiss; granddaughters, Olivia and Heidi Weiss; son, Samuel Roberson; and numerous nieces and nephews in Alaska and the Lower 48.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Isaac Roberson; her father and mother, Wassilie and Emma; brothers, Evan Thomas and James Atsitmok; sisters, Lydia Pavilla and Anna Wassilie; brother-in-law, John Pavilla; nephew Arthur Wassilie and numerous other family members.

The family asks that donations be made to the Anchorage Gospel Rescue Mission, 2823 E. Tudor Rd, Anchorage, AK 99507. Flower donations will also be graciously accepted.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Witzleben Legacy Funeral Home at 1707 S. Bragaw St, Anchorage, AK 99508.
