Maureen Ellen Hunt, 55, passed away on Sept. 18, 2020, at Alaska Regional Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. Maureen was born on July 30, 1965, in New York City to the late Eileen Hunt. In 1997, she made her big journey to Alaska, where she became a resident of Wasilla. She loved to travel and photograph nature. Maureen was "One Of A Kind"! She was loved and respected by everyone that knew her. She was always there for anyone that needed her help, she will be missed by many!

Maureen is survived by her brothers, Patrick Hunt, Michael Hunt and Kevin (and wife Loren) Hunt; sister, Kathleen Hunt; nephews, Liam Hunt and Jeremiah Lyons III; and nieces, Jessica Batt, Mary Moreno, Elly Hunt, Darcy Hunt and Kiely Hunt.

A memorial service will be held at Janssen's Mat-Su Funeral Home, 6901 East Blue Lupine in Palmer, Alaska, on Oct. 17, 2020, at 10 a.m. Arrangements are entrusted with Janssen Funeral Homes.
