Eddie Lieb, 62, a lifelong Alaskan, passed away on May 6, 2020, at his daughter's house in Anchorage, Alaska, surrounded by family after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Stella Lieb; parents Max and Sophie Lieb; sisters, Maxine Miller and Sweetums Pavil; brothers Manny, Jerry, Roger and Reggie Lieb.

Eddie was born on Sept. 20, 1957, in Bethel, Alaska, to Max and Sophie Lieb, he was the youngest of 11 children. The family moved to Tacoma, Wash., when Eddie was a teenager and there he received his GED. After returning to Alaska, he met the love of his life Stella in 1980 and married her in 1986. Eddie and Stella had four children: Adrianna, Stephanie, Christina and Anthony.

Eddie was very athletic and loved playing sports; his favorite sports were hockey and soccer; although he didn't play football he still was a fan of the game and was a diehard Raiders fan. He also loved fishing - it didn't matter what time of the year it was, if there was fish, he was bound to catch them.

The most valuable thing in Eddie's life was his family, he loved to spend time with our ever-growing family, especially his grandchildren - he spoiled them rotten along with his girls.

Eddie was the type of person to give his shirt off his back if you needed it. He was a protector and most importantly the best dad in the universe.

If you were one of the lucky ones who got to know this beautiful soul, you know exactly how much of an impact Eddie has had on our lives. He is going to be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he Rest in Peace.
