Mar 17, 2020

Nicholas was born on March 24, 1980, to Sandy Storch in Baltimore, Md. At a young age, he was adopted by his grandparents, David and Carol Storch of Edinboro, Pa. In search of adventure, Nicholas moved to Alaska in 2000. From commercial fishing out of Dutch Harbor to non-profit management in Fairbanks and the shipyards of Seward, he found adventure, and also earned his master's degree from University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Nicholas' most treasured adventure began on Aug. 30, 2014, when he married Brook Wyatt of Anchorage. Together, they've raised a total of six furbabies. Nicholas died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on March 17, 2020. He is remembered for his love of animals, learning, humor, physical fitness and talkative nature.

Nicholas is survived by his wife, Brook; and five furbabies. He is also survived his parents David and Carol Storch; mother, Sandy Storch; brother, David (Zhenya) Lasher; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Nicholas will be laid to rest on May 21, 2020, at Angelus Memorial Park Cemetery following a small funeral for family on March 26, 2020.
