Nora Sautter

Nora Jean Sautter went to heaven on Feb. 28, 2020. She was 82 years old and lived in Sun City West, Ariz., with her husband of 29 years, Jack Sautter. Nora is survived by a large motley crew of a family who adored her.

While born in Lander, Wyo., Nora spent most of her life in Alaska and Arizona. Nora enjoyed the Alaska life – hunting, fishing, living remotely – and declared the City of Seldovia, Alaska, her favorite place on earth. Before moving to Seldovia, Nora lived and worked in Anchorage for many years where she was the Director of Operations, Alaska for American Express Travel.

In 1991, Nora and Jack moved to Sun City West and built a full life together enjoying their families; contributing to their community through dance club, golf leagues, neighborhood parties, church involvement; and loving one another.

Nora shared her love of Jesus Christ, her family, books and travel with her husband and her children. We know she "woke up with Jesus" that Friday, and we look forward to seeing her again in heaven.

As we did in her life, we are still taking our orders from her, which means there will not be a memorial service. Because some have asked, donations in Nora's name are welcome to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Please thank God for the impact Nora may have had on your life.
