On Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020, Patricia Ann Brown went home to be with the lord. Patricia was born on July 31, 1956, in Kennedy Ala., to Duffie Mae Nalls Johnson. Patricia, also known as Pat, graduated from an all girls high school in Boston, Mass. Pat continued with her education taking several nursing classes, then pursued a career in banking and finance. She worked her way up to supervisor position at both Key Bank and Northrim Bank of Alaska. She traveled around the world and life eventually brought her to Anchorage, Alaska, where she settled for more than 30 years. She was treasured every where she went and left a positive, lasting impact on those around her.

In life she moved with courage and conviction, but with a tenderness and understanding that made others see her as a second mother. Patricia was a very caring and nurturing parent. After raising Timothy, she opened her home and heart to two young men, Robert Nickolas Brown and Daryl Fowler-Doxtator. She fell in love with both boys and later adopted Robert as her very own son and found Daryl the perfect home for him to flourish. Patricia continued to stay in contact with Daryl and his new family all the way up until her death.

Patricia leaves behind two sons, Timothy and Robbie, and a host of siblings, extended family members and friends who all will miss her greatly.
