Patricia "Trish" Leigh Cherry, 55, passed away in Anchorage, Alaska, on Oct. 21, 2024.

Patricia was born on March 10, 1969, in Burbank, Calif., to Francis Wesley Amason and Sarah "Sally" Patricia Amason (Martin). Patricia graduated from Bakersfield College in California with a B.A. in paralegal studies. It was there, in 1990, that she met her future husband, Jaz Cherry. They were wed in 2012 in Bakersfield, Calif. While in California, Trish worked for the Law Office of Bobby Cloud. After retiring, her and Jaz moved to Seward, Alaska, in June 2020.

Trish was a member of the Crossroads Bible Church and often volunteered at the Food Bank. She was also Mrs. Claus each Christmas for the past eight years.

Family states: "Trish was a faithful wife and the love of my life. Although she never gave birth to her own children, she did get to be a wonderful stepmother to our daughter Jazmynn and son D.J. She was and is loved."

Trish is survived by her parents, Frank and Sally Amason; brother and sister-in-law, David and Dawn Amason; husband, Jaz Cherry; stepdaughter, Jazmynn Cherry; and stepson, D.J. Cherry.
