Pauline Baker, wife of Gary Baker, passed away on Sept. 25, 2020, after a sudden attack of cancer of the pancreas.

Pauline was born in Boyington, Okla., on Aug. 29, 1934, into a family of eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by one brother, Lloyd Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She married Harold Walker in 1957, and lived in Neosho, Mo., before traveling to Alaska in 1962. She married Gary Baker in 1966, and they had 54 years of great marriage.

While in Alaska, she truly loved to go on float trips and go fishing. She loved all outdoor activities, whether it was snowmachining or flying with her husband. She moved to Goldendale, Wash., in 2012, and enjoyed numerous trips in the motor home. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers and enjoyed watching the birds out of her living room window.
