Renee Lacy, 44, passed away on Feb. 12, 2020, at Wing and Prayer Assisted Living Home in Anchorage, Alaska. Renee was born on July 11, 1975, in Plainfield City, N.J., to the late Eugene and Edith Jenssen. Renee was very creative and crafty, she loved making her own jewelry. Renee got along with everyone, she especially loved her "bus buddies." Renee was employed by Karluk Manor for many years. Renee was a member of Christian House of Prayer since 2003 until her going home. She received numerous awards for her athleticism when she was involved with Special Olympics. Renee will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Renee is preceded in death by her father, Eugene Jenssen; and mother, Edith Jenssen. A Celebration of Life will be held on Feb. 21, 2020, at 1 p.m., at Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel, 737 E Street in Anchorage. Pastor Tobitha C. Lawrence will be officiating following a burial at Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery, 535 East Ninth Avenue in Anchorage, at 2 p.m.
