Ronald Patrick Jeanotte, 67, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Apr. 3, 2025, while walking along the beach with his beloved wife, Aida Negron.
Ronald was born on May 11, 1957, in Seattle, Wash., to Robert and Verna (Azure) Jeanotte. Raised in Belcourt, he was deeply proud of his Native American heritage as a Chippewa Indian from the Turtle Mountain Reservation. After completing his education, Ronald spent time in Arizona before finding his true home in Alaska, where he lived for many years. His journey also took him to the East Coast where he met the love of his life, Aida.
Ronald had a long and meaningful career in Human Resources on the East Coast where he retired, and he was known for his professionalism, compassion and ability to connect with people.
Ronald lived life to the fullest. He had a passion for the outdoors and especially loved boating, camping, fishing and traveling. A music lover at heart, he also enjoyed attending concerts. He carried a deep faith in God and cherished time spent with family and friends.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Aida Negron; daughter, Candice McIntyre; his mother, Verna Jeanotte of Belcourt; and his siblings, Deborah Melton and Bob Jeanotte.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jeanotte; his son, Levi; and his siblings, David, Rick, and Brenda.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit and unwavering love for those around him. Ronald's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
