Sue Lynn Foley

Sue Lynn Foley passed away after a brief illness on Feb. 29, 2020, with family and friends beside her. Sue was born on April 16, 1949, to John and Mary Patterson in Anchorage, Alaska.

Sue attended West Anchorage High School and graduated in 1967. She married her high school sweetheart, James Foley, and had four children.

Sue worked from home as a child care provider. She touched so many lives through her love and support. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, Nev., and playing Hit it Rich on her computer. During the summer months, Sue could be found at the family property on the Kenai River with her friends and family.

Sue is survived by her children, Jim Foley (Degee), Tom Foley (Cheryl), Tami Miller (Ted) and Cyndi Percey (Bob); grandchildren, Samantha, Amber, Melissa, Megan, Michael, Alex, Steven, Katelyn, Preston, Elizabeth and Robert; great-grandchild, Kayden; brother, Mike Patterson; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Sue will truly be missed by those who had the privilege to know her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Foley; father, John Patterson; mother, Mary Patterson; and sister, Sharon Tomblinson.

A remembrance of life gathering will take place in Anchorage at a later date. Her ashes will be spread at the family property on the Kenai River and Mount Susitna during the summer months.
