Former Alaska resident Tanya Lynn Borreson, 47, lost her battle with cancer on March 21, 2020. She is now in heaven with her sister Julie.

There will be no funeral, per her wishes. There will be a Celebration of Life in the summer with family and friends.

Tanya was born in Juneau, Alaska, on Nov. 24, 1972, to Martin and Linda Borreson.

Tanya leaves behind her loving wife, Karen Borreson; her sisters, Sandra Hoskins and her twin sister Sonja Morris; she also leaves behind her nieces, Tasha Selman, Rachelle Foreman and Nichole Culpepper; and nephew, Tyler Hoskins; Dylan Pickens; and many more friends and family that love her dearly.
