Thomas Holger Dreyer of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away on Sept. 27, 2020, at the age of 68. After 7 years battling cancer, Tom died peacefully with his beloved wife, Beth, and family by his side.
Tom was born in Seattle, Wash., on Sept. 4, 1952, to father Edwin and mother Elaine. Tom was the third of five brothers: Bob, Bill (deceased), Ken and Dave.
Tom married his first wife, Vicky, in 1978. They had two children: Erik and Loren. The family enjoyed traveling and the outdoors. Sadly, Vicky passed away in 2002.
Tom earned his Professional Land Surveyor license and began a career in surveying in the early 1980s. Tom worked side-by-side with his four brothers at Lantech Surveyors from 1978-2006 on various projects across the state of Alaska, and later founded S4 Development Group.
He was a regular at yoga studios around town. Tom met his second wife, Beth Schuerman, in 2010 through a mutual interest in yoga and enjoyed 10 years of love and adventure. Tom and Beth traveled the world, climbed mountains and lived an exciting fun-filled life.
Tom was preceded in death by his older brother, Bill; his first wife, Vicky; and his parents. He is survived by his second wife, Beth; three brothers, Bob, Ken and Dave; sisters-in-law, Nancy and Kim; his two sons, Erik and Loren; his two daughters-in-law, Diana and Lydia; his two stepchildren, Richelle and Trevor; and his four grandchildren, Isabella, Sofia, Lily and Logan.
