Yvonne Marie Emery

Yvonne Marie Emery, 88, died peacefully at home next to Gene, her husband of 68 years. She was born in Michigan and traveled the world as an Air Force officer's wife, then in 1969, they drove the Alcan Highway with their family - five children, a dog and a pregnant cat - towing a 60-foot house trailer. Yvonne was a pilot and an amazing seamstress; she was known as the "Kuspuk Lady." She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity.

She leaves Gene; her children, Dewight Emery, Jay Emery, John Reiss, Dixie Wright and Wendy Hallback; and dozens of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as an extended family in Michigan. Yvonne was predeceased by her son, Rex Emery.

A memorial will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice or go play a game of bingo in her memory.
