Brandalyn Rae Burke, 40, died on Nov. 13, 2020, in Anchorage, Alaska. An outdoor celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Brandy was born on Nov. 9, 1980, in Anchorage. She graduated from Dimond High School and completed some college. She worked for Bright Beginnings as a nursery school teacher for a time.

She enjoyed music, concerts, spending time with her children and friends, and she loved cats. Brandy was an only child raised by her late mother Sue Burke, who she loved hanging out with until her passing in 2014. Brandy had a contagious smile that you just couldn't help but smiling back, a kind heart, free spirit and infectious laugh.

She is preceded in death by her mother and her maternal grandparents and great-grandparents.

Brandy is survived by her children, Alyssa, Kylie, Chloe, Mason and Shelby, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
