Lifelong Alaska resident Jaclyn Collen Welcome, 37, was unexpectedly taken away from us on June 19, 2021, in Anchorage, Alaska.

Jaclyn was born on Oct. 30, 1983, in Anchorage, to Genevieve Nathan and Charles Welcome Jr. She attended Wendler Jr. High School and East High School. Jaclyn was fun loving, showed compassion to all and made a lot of friends along the way. Most importantly, she loved her family near and far.

She is survived by her parents, Genevieve Nathan and Charles Welcome Jr. of Anchorage; sisters, Charlene Welcome and Desiree Montenegro; and brother, Charles Welcome. She is also survived by her sons, Christopher, William and Jeremy; and daughters, Pebbles, Angel and Grace.

Jaclyn is also survived by her aunts and uncles of Metlakatla, Alaska; Sitka, Alaska; and Washington. She had many cousins, nieces and nephews who loved her.

Jaclyn Colleen Welcome is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Mead of Anchorage; grandparents, Charles Welcome Sr. and Agnes John Welcome of Sitka, and Roy Nathan and Frieda Nathan of Metlakatla, Alaska.

A service will be held at Janssen's Evergreen Memorial in Anchorage on Friday, July 2, 2021. We will have a viewing at 10 a.m., and service at 11 a.m.
