Jesse Ernest Diamond passed away on June 23, 2021, in Anchorage, Alaska, at the age of 37.
Jesse was born on Aug. 31, 1983, in Anchorage, to Ernest Diamond and Susan Virginia. Growing up, his world revolved around family, especially his sister Sarah, whom he loved very much. He loved the brotherhood created on the ice and played competitive hockey from age 10 until 18. Jesse played for the Blue Devils AAA midget team, winning regionals and then went on to place fourth in the 2001 national tournament. He also helped the Chugiak High hockey team win the state championship in 2001. Jesse played for the Mat-Su Eagle Bantam team that won the state tournament. He graduated from Chugiak High School in 2002. His family, friends, hockey, camping and fishing were most important to him. The excitement of fishing and the calm of the river and campfire soothed his soul. His smile and sense of humor could light up any room. Jesse loved his three children: Brennan Jace, Dallas and Nevaeh.
