Alice Louise Naleilehuaopanaewa Keaweamahi (Frendo), 68, passed away peacefully on Aug. 24, 2021, at home in Anchorage, Alaska.
A visitation and funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at The Arctic Rec Center, 4855 Arctic Blvd, Anchorage, AK 99503, at 10 a.m. Pastor Moe Tali will officiate the service. Following the services, Alice's ashes will be taken to Honolulu, Hawaii, to be scattered.
Alice was born on April 25, 1953, in Honolulu, to Joseph and Hilda Frendo (Namuo). She married Michael Alan Lani Keaweamahi. She moved to Alaska in July 1996. Alice worked the Honolulu City & County Parks and Rec Department for the State of Hawaii and for Great Pacific Seafood in Whittier and Anchorage in Alaska. She was a member of the MCA Island Revival Ohana, where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
Alice is survived by brother, Charles Frendo of Honolulu; sisters, Pamela Punihaole, Hilda Moritz, Geraldine Vanslyke and Dawn Torres; daughters, Maile Kanohokula (Shanlyn) with Ben and April Keaweamahi; son, Michael (Sky) Keaweamahi; grandchildren, Mike Manufekai-Keaweamahi, Angelica Manufekai-Keaweamahi, Kuuipo Kanohokula-Keaweamahi with Danny, Samuel Puahi (Keaweamahi) with Raynelle, Susan Kanohokula with Maurice, Ben Kanohokula III with Juslyn (Jaja), Mailegirl Kanohokula, Haaheo Kanohokula, Lokahi Kanohokula, Hokunani Kanohokula, Leilani Keaweamahi, Murphy Money Keaweamahi and Po'okela Keaweamahi (Perry); great-grandchildren, Destanie, Misty, Kristy, Iaukea, Mana, Alaka'I, Kimo, Armani, Raquel, Mathaias, Andre, Kairahlynn and Makana.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Hilda and Joseph Frendo; brother, George Frendo; grandson, Francisco Keaweamahi; great-granddaughter, Ariana Parker; and husband, Michael Keaweamahi.
Arrangements were entrusted to Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
