Cordelia "Cora" Rose Allen-John

Cordelia Rose Allen-John, "Cora," was a lifelong Alaskan who passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 16, 2021, at the age of 36. Cora was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on Feb. 4, 1985, to David and Susan Allen. Cora graduated from World Harvest Christian School, and later became a PCA, caring for others. Cora received her CNA certificate after attending school down in Florida. She was working for Alaska Wild Berry Products when she passed.

Cora was an unforgettable person that was outgoing and full of life, and was always eager to make others smile and laugh. She had a big and beautiful heart and would do anything for those she loved, especially her friends and family. Her taste in music and movies was vast, and she also enjoyed singing, the outdoors, and spending time with her nieces and nephews doing crafts.

Cora is survived by her father, David Allen; two grandmothers, Odean Allen and Amelia Ordway; siblings, Tilly Winburn, Jeremy Allen and his wife Sarah, Thomas Allen; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, additional family members and friends.

Cora was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Allen, and other family members. Cora was loved and will be dearly missed by many. May she rest in peace.

A memorial service in remembrance of Cora will be held at the Muldoon Community Assembly, 7041 Debarr Road in Anchorage, on Oct. 9, 2021. The time will be posted on Facebook within the next few days.
